Svar från Edgar Mitchell

Hej!

T ex:"This Martinus fellow is interesting." Och "Still, the value of a Martinus lies in that he reminds us of our responsibilities." I agree largely with the parts you quoted, but have not encountered this writer(Martinus alltså) before.

Hi Edgar Mitchell!

Here are some questions for you:

1)What was the best with your moontrip in your opinion?
2)Did your personality change a lots after this moontrip? If so- how?
3)Do you think that the man will be able to go to Mars soon and return back again? Can human create artificial gravity aboard on the spaceship?
4)How long distance from the Earth do you think the mankind can go or travel from the Earth in the future?Where is the limit in your opinion?
5)What kind of worldpicture do you have? Do you believe in reincarnation or a continuing of the life after the death?
6)Have you heard about Martinus Cosmology or "The Third Testament" before? What is your personal opinion about this?
7)The best thing to increase the muscles is to go to the gym of course. But wat is the best way to increase or develope the courage, the "psychic courage-muscle"?

Thank you very much
And best wishes Mikael Johnsson

1, I assume you mean what event was best. Of course, exploring the surface of the moon was the highlight, but the entire experience from beginning to end must be considered a totally wonderful event.

2) Not my personality that changed particularly, but a markedly greater appreciation for the deep mysteries of life and existence in our cosmos.

3) I am sure we will go to Mars and return in due course---provided human kind doesn't foolishly destroy itself in the meantime. Exactly when, I don't know, likely 2-3 decades hence. Artificial gravity in space? Yes, rotation is one means, and we may find others.

4) Limits to our space travel. I don't know of any. But we need some new science first. Perhaps by the end of this century we could be ready to go beyond our solar system. I'm sure special relativity is just a temporary barrier.

5) Reincarnation and life after death are matters of faith. I look for evidence, but as yet our evidence (the quantum hologram mechanism) only supports that experience is preserved for the use of future generations. It seems to explain the evidence for the presumed phenomenon of reincarnation, but does not support the presumption of the survival of consciousness.

6)Not familiar with Martinus cosmology--certainly not by that name.

7)Developing courage is learning to control fear. That comes from experience, confidence and understanding the situation one is exploring.

"Mikael, I wish I could agree with Martinus optimism regarding the future of our civilization. I am sure we can and should create such a Utopian future, but as we have choice, there is a significant chance we will not.
There are many concepts in the tranlated sections you presented that simply don't hold up in the modern period. His concepts of instinct, intelligence, intellectualism, and evolution need considerable upgrading to fit the current understanding."
