In order to properly evaluate and interpret this symbol, we should realize the meaning of the teeth. Permanent teeth appear normally at age 7, when, according to some occultists, the personalized individuality of the child — the ego — takes full control of the physical organism. The teeth are used to tear down foodstuffs so they can be digested and assimilated. Social living and cultural patterns impose upon us certain habits of eating, arouse desires for unwholesome or denatured food, force us perhaps to eat in tense circumstances and hurriedly. This results in tooth decay far more frequently than should be inevitable through aging. The symbol therefore shows us how society and civilization, which may indirectly cause tooth decay, then have to invent means to skillfully repair the damage.

At this fourth stage of the five-fold sequence we see once more a hint of technique. Life in society both perverts, and repairs, destroys and rebuilds — truly a vicious cycle. Man is compelled by social needs to display INVENTIVENESS.

The mockingbird is able to imitate sounds he hears, but actually he does more than imitate, for he weaves all these sounds into melodies which at times can have joyous amplitude and instinctively creative spontaneity. The symbol refers to the capacity which the talented individual has to take collective material and to transform it under the urge of biological productivity and instinctual love. The song rises, powered by these great natural drives, very much as so-called popular songs rise from the youthful soul in response to deep personal or social emotions.

At this fourth stage of the five-fold sequence, what is presented to us symbolically is the reaction of the individual who has become sensitive to many life currents in his environment and who is able to exteriorize this welling-up response as a gift to his society, displaying VIRTUOSITY.

At this stage we see the individual creatively expressing his own particular individuality. He takes the materials available in his social-geographical environment and shapes them so they reveal to other people something of his inner life and purpose.

This second phase in the fifty-fourth sequence is, as usual, in contrast to the first. The "flag bearer" symbolizes the selfless representative of a collective tradition or of national unity; the "sculptor," on the contrary, represents man as a creative individual intent on making his mark upon society. This is a symbol of man's capacity to transform raw materials according to his personal vision — thus a symbol of SELF-PROJECTION INTO A WORK.

KEYNOTE: The cultivation of natural energies for collective use and recreation.

At this final stage of the sequence of symbols focusing on emotional-cultural values, we witness the positive and impressive results of man's collective endeavor to live in peace and to enjoy moments of relaxation. The public park is designed and kept for the enjoyment of all the people of the city.

This is a symbol of COLLECTIVE ENJOYMENT. The individual finds in the products of his culture an emotional enhancement born of the feeling of "belonging" to a large, organized, peaceful whole.

A PARROT REPEATS THE CONVERSATION HE HAS OVERHEARD.

KEYNOTE: The capacity to transmit transcendental knowledge.

To the individual who lives in a state of ardent and sustained faith it may become possible to become a channel for the trans-mission of a knowledge or wisdom that transcends his normal mental understanding. The mind that has learned to be silent and attentive can become attuned to the rhythm of utterances which he may not comprehend intellectually, yet which may truly manifest superhuman realizations.  Discrimination is needed here to balance the over-eagerness of faith.

At this fourth stage of the five-fold sequence of symbols we are given a hint as to man's capacity to attune himself to sources of higher wisdom if he can be sufficiently attentive and careful in channeling a "higher Voice." To stress here the negative element of automatism and unintelligent repetition is to use only one's intellect. All birds in symbolism suggest spiritual faculties or forces. What is evoked is the possibility of learning from higher Intelligences. Keyword: CHANNELSHIP.

PELICANS MENACED BY THE BEHAVIOR AND REFUSE OF MEN SEEK SAFER AREAS FOR BRINGING UP THEIR YOUNG.

KEYNOTE: The need for people concerned with the future to discover a new way of living and more wholesome surroundings.

The evident reason for using "pelicans" at this stage of the cyclic process is that tradition tells us that these birds are so concerned with their young that they give their own blood and flesh to feed their progeny. Whether this is fact or symbol, the meaning of this picture refers to a situation that lately has acquired great urgency. Our technological society is polluting not only our global environment, but the mind and feeling-responses of new generations as well. The search for a new way of life is seen by many people to be imperative.

In this fourth symbol of the fifty-second sequence we are told that the race's SURVIVAL has become a matter of extreme importance. Whole animal species may be destroyed by our civilization; mankind itself is in danger. Going to distant planets is hardly the answer. A generation may have to sacrifice itself for the sake of its descendants.

At this second stage of the five-fold sequence we see a picture which contrasts with the one for the first stage: thus, a celestial display of power versus a clear, lovely-sounding little stream. Back of every natural self-expression stands the tremendous power of the "Soul-field," itself but one of the myriad aspects of the Creative Word that is the origin of this universe. At certain times, this power compels the natural earth-conditioned personality to accept, perhaps in awe, the spiritual potentialities of its "higher" celestial destiny. This experience of power can both illumine and shatter. The next symbol reveals its positive possibilities.

This is a stage of existence in which "revelation" is implied, at least as a potentiality. The consciousness may be deeply disturbed by THE VISITATION, but the substance of the individual being can be fecundated by the experience.


Sista:THE STORM ENDED, ALL NATURE REJOICES IN BRILLIANT SUNSHINE.

KEYNOTE: The surge of life and love after a major crisis.

The symbol speaks clearly for itself. How brilliant the light after the long "night of the soul"! The battered but unconquered consciousness finds itself exalted in the marriage of sunbeams and rising sap. This indeed is "Release" — light and life singing in the cleansed and refreshed mind, flooded for a while by the waters of feeling.

This is the first stage in the twenty-eighth five-fold sequence. It is a sequence that reveals consciousness at its most inspiring moments of enjoyment. But these "peak experiences" can operate at several levels. The first and most basic level is that of life itself, and of the overcoming of its many crises — THE JOY AND POWER OF NEW BEGINNINGS.

PHASE 106 (CANCER 16°): A MAN STUDYING A MANDALA IN FRONT OF HIM, WITH THE HELP OF A VERY ANCIENT BOOK.

KEYNOTE: A deep concern with problems raised by the process of personality integration.

After a person decides to follow a certain course of action, accepting a new allegiance, the results of this decision at the three basic levels of human experience (actional, emotional-cultural and individual-mental) have to be stabilized and consolidated.

This is what is meant by the process of personality integration. In Asia the great symbol of this process is the Mandala; in the Christian world we find, in various forms, the symbol of the Cross. The Christian design is often simple and bare; it is its reference to the crucifixion of a God-man that personalizes or emotionalizes it. The Oriental Mandala can take an infinite variety of forms and can encompass a vast multiplicity of contents; it is psychological and cosmic. The square - the foundation of the Mandala - potentially encloses diverse contents. The Cross, on the other hand, represents conflict in action; it is a symbol of tragic overcoming. The Mandala symbolizes integration of opposing trends and multiple bipolar energies.

This is the first stage of the twenty-second five-fold sequence. It reveals a deep effort on the part of the individualized consciousness to reach a solid basis of understanding that will allow it to perceive the structural relationship of every part of the personality to every other part. It is a mental process implying study and an inward-turning of the attention, CONCENTRATION; even more it is a symbol of what might at first be called CONFORMATION — that is, a profound and stabilizing sense of form, but of one's own individual form, not an external socio-cultural pattern.

Ascendent-teorin/internet säger:

En ganska intressant sak händer då vi mediterar på den punkt som vi kallar Ascendenten. Det är som om de primära negativa och positiva energierna tar ut varandra och lockar fram en neutral energi. Denna neutrala energi är den som också är aktivt närvarande vid Solstånden och Dagjämningspunkterna då Yin och Yang når sin största balans, eller extremer. Och Ascendenten delar naturligtvis symbolik med Vårdagjämningspunkten, inte sant?

Denna neutrala energi är den pol runt vilket vårt polariserade medvetande har sitt varande. Och det är allas vår evolutionära uppgift att integrera varande med icke-varande!

Som jag skrev i mitt första inlägg så symboliserar Ascendenten de kvaliteter som nyligen genomgått upplösning och raffinering i mötet med det okända i Tolfte Huset. Detta okända gjorde bedömningen att dessa kvaliteter inte var tillräckligt kvalificerade till att helt ut få kontakt med det okända. Alltså gav det okända dessa medvetandefragment/kvaliteter en vision om vad som behövs göras för att den nästa gång när den kommer i kontakt med det okända, ska kunna upprätta en stark och medveten kontakt med den. Vi blir alltså ett med Källan återigen; cirkeln sluts – även om spiralen fortsätter.

Alltså är Ascendenten extremt svag och bräcklig då dessa kvaliteter för första gången på mycket länge återigen måste involvera sig med det fysiska och det materiella. Dessa kvaliteter har nu som uppgift eller som mission att inleda en helt ny cykel. Minnet av den vision Källan gav den på den sista graden i Tolfte Huset finns där, men omedvetet för de flesta av oss. Vad denna vision och mission är kan vi se genom de kvaliteter som är sammankopplad med det tecken som är på Ascendenten, och den Sabianska symbolen. Den planet som styr Ascendenten – exoteriskt eller esoteriskt - arbetar nu ut denna vision INSTINKTIVT/OMEDVETET [exoteriskt] eller med INSPIRATION/MISSION [esoteriskt].

Tycker faktiskt det kan vara kul med såna här socialt stimulerande lekar, men ännu roligare är den bild som vidhäftar mig här. "Neptunus på det galaktiska centret". Är det nån som sett (tror det är) "Jakten på det gyllene skinnet", eller nåt sånt. En grekisk mytologisk saga, och en pionjärrulle inom specialeffekternas värld. Nåväl, i den finns det en scen där Poseidon (=Neptunus) kliver upp ur havet, stor som ett tjugovåningshus, med kronan på huvudet och den där högaffeln i näven. Har inte alls svårt att tänka mig själv på så sätt, och inte heller i det galaktiska centret. Tamejfan, Anna Sara, jag tror du träffat mig på pricken!

Att vara intonad till det det Galaktiska Centret gör dig immun mot att förblindas av det spel som äger rum på de lägre dimensioner relativt till det Galaktiska Centret. Det har sagts om personer som står under starkt inflytande av det Galaktiska Centret att de har ”renhet i tanken” och inte är lättmanipulerade; att de bevarar en inre sanning som är ”neutral” relativt till den dualism som vi lever i här. Ett tillstånd av neutralitet, ”skit” finner inget fäste i det Galaktiska Centret; en fri tänkare…

Du ser den verkliga rättvisan och är passiv eftersom du har en "avbild" som du har inflytande över inom t ex kulturell språkförståelse, och har för stort och för litet minne -men jag vet inte var du är på väg, jag tror du har ett mål men abstrakt upphöjt i transcendensen. Sen då, när du inte litar på "dem"?


Försök att inte var så idealistiskt noga/hård. Var istället RIKTIGT mjuk OCH totalt allvarlig och cynisk, och upplev intrycket från världen. Tyck aldrig synd om något och kalla det moral, det är som att snubbla över sig själv.


Jag ser också denna rättvisa och känner mig fångad/tvingad till passivitet. Jag vill vara en scen eller en grovarbetare för att leva ut mina känslor.


Du är en konstnär i strömmen. Det har jag alltid varit men gjort motstånd eftersom det inte är jag -eftersom jag inte kan spegla ett transparent jag i sig själv. Du har liksom "haft tur" eftersom du trixat in dig själv "lagom", genom ett "balanserad" kaos i uppväxten ..och känner i alla fall tillfredställande personliga utmaningar.

Jag förstår de mentala sanningarna men inte mig själv för jag kan inte hålla med om det här -förutom i stunder av glaumor och dåliga beslut/flummiga drömmar. Det är en teater. Sjävla teaterna teatern utan chans till förnekelse.


Jag lever i en psykos och började älska gräs sanningsterapeutiskt eftersom det skyddar mig från myter. (Jag bara vädrar samma tema här för att skapa förståelse) -jag tror du har något i din livstil som jag "vill ha", något som du kan upplysa mig om -kaosets integritet, valfrihet.
